Eloise Tait: From Professional Hockey to Professional Padel
We’re joined by Eloise Tait, a former professional hockey player turned professional padel player, to talk about making the transition between two completely different sporting worlds.
Eloise shares how injury brought her hockey career to an end, the loss of identity that came with stepping away from the sport, and how discovering padel gave her a new competitive challenge to pursue.
We also get into the realities of competing on the padel circuit, finding the right partner, dealing with pressure and what Eloise has learned about the mental side of elite sport from competing at a high level in both hockey and padel.
