Heartbreak in Paris! Chingalán Let It Slip AGAIN
Coello & Tapia are Paris Major champions for the FOURTH year in a row after somehow turning around a final that looked destined for Galán & Chingotto.
Chingalán were 5–3 up in the third set and serving for the title, but once again Coello & Tapia found a way. We break down one of the most brutal finals of the year, Tapia’s incredible performance, Galán’s numbers, the tactical battle between the two pairs and what this result could mean for the race to World No.1.
On the women’s side, Ari Sánchez & Andrea Ustero produced a near-perfect performance to claim their first Major together, while we ask some big questions about what’s going on with Paula Josemaría & Bea González.
Plus, Thomas Leygue makes French padel history at Roland-Garros, we look at which nations could produce the next generation of elite players, and finish with a quickfire round of our hottest takes from Paris.
